  • Tub and basket compost

So... I picked up the wrong compost. Does anybody have any idea if my tomato seedlings will do okay in this stuff or should I just hold off on the repotting until I get hold of some mpc Thanks.

I used Tub & Basket compost for my Gardeners Delight and Alicante vine tomatoes (also for my tumbling toms that will end up in a basket) and they're all thriving in it!

I've also used it for my chilli plants and they're growing nicely in it too.

I wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

Just had a quick check if it's just called T&B on the packaging it will be fine. Usually it is just slightly more water retentive.

Lidl's Tub and Basket compost. As Welsh76 has had such success with it, I guess I'll go ahead and use it...
