  • Trying To Source Gelbe Kirschen Chili Seeds

I bought these from Realseeds a few years ago and saved the seeds. They don't sell them anymore and I gave what seeds I had left to a plot neighbour who, for whatever reason didn't save any.

I've tried google but can't find any to buy, can anyone help?

Realseeds might have some but just not enough to sell on the site or lack of demand they stopped producing them for sale but i bet they have some stashed away.
It might be worth sending them an email as you never know. Being a small company and the reasons they do what they do i think your in with a chance.

I have 18 seeds from 2 years ago - no idea how long chillies are viable for, but I'm guessing at least 3 odd years. Happy to send some up, or if you'd rather fresh ones, then Zaz'll be your lady!

Thanks so much both of you.

Zaz, I contacted Realseeds and if they don't have any I would love to take you up on your offer.

I'll be in touch when I've heard back from them.

I don't grow them but I think what i'll do this year is take one of his seedlings off him and grow it on for seed coz he done this last year too and I gave him the rest of what I had so this way he'll have plenty for the next few years and i'll send the rest off to the VSP.

If anything goes amiss with the seeds I've got seeds in the propagator. Could pop over plants (when they are big enough). I'm guessing you live around Springboig/Shettleston/Baillieston/Garrowhill.

Frosty, that is so very kind of you, I will definately give you a shout if I need them.

VC, I didn't even think to look at the VSP DUH!!! I'll PM you when I get home.

Thank you everyone, I'll go down the "official" route and use the VSP.

I've had a response from Realseeds and they will have them available in the Autumn, bit too late for George but good to know they will be there if he wants more.
