    Morning All

I have just noticed that some of the leaves on my tomatoes plants are looking a bit mottled. I know this can be a mosaic virus but as they haven't venturned outside yet I wondered if this is possible? They are the strongest of my plants and about a foot tall and both varieties that I haven't tried before - Black Russian and St Pierre. Hopefully, I can attach a photo! Could water splash chase mottle? I so don't want to have to get rid of them.
    That's for any advice.

I'd try a spray of Epson Salts BeBe, it can't hurt:

Yes, that's a possible explanation. Water droplets on leaves can cause a focussing effect of light on the leaves and can burn white patches like this.

Not sure why that is being suggested, do you think the plants are showing signs of Magnesium deficiency?

How long have they been in those pots? Have you fed them with anything?

They are fast growing plants and will soon use up the nutrients in the compost.

Recentry reported so not sure it's a mineral deficiency. What is Epsom salts? Is it the same as Andrews that you take for upset tummy? Hope I don't regret asking g that!!!

If it's only on the bottom leaves it's likely they've been a bit splashed when watering & the suns scorched the leaves unless the spots are higher up on the plant too,a deficiency would affect alot of leaves, unless you splash them higher up,then it could be either, but as they've just been potted on,they shouldn't need a feed yet...
