I am the worlds worst at attachments but I think you have to first put them in an album on your profile page then go from there but would be good if they gave idiot proof info on this so us simpletons could get our heads around it..Hope this helps

I can't mend your pic so that it shows, sorry. But when I pasted the link into my browser and went to look, something started trying to put malware on my computer and my security blocked it... So that might be why it won't show on the forum.

If it is blossom end rot, then it's usually caused by poor watering - allowing the plants to dry out means that it can't take calcium up which is needed for cell formation. If the fruits are in a bad way then it might be best to remove them, and let the plants concentrate on making new fruits further up. And have a think about sorting out the watering, maybe a tray under the plants that they can soak up what they need through the day? Or a drinks bottle with the bottom cut of and a hole pierced in the lid pushed into the compost next to each plant. You can then fill the bottle with water, and leave it to drip out during the day.

thanks all,
i water them twice a day, but there in the plastic buckets that florists get their flowers in, so they may dry out. I am always worried about over watering, having said that, I have just had a weeks holiday, and a neighbor watered them for me, so i have no way of knowing how often he did them. maybe the worst is over

All my toms in the greenhouse are watered at the same time and all get the same amount of water, but just one of my plants have produced 5 toms with blossom end rot.
Are some varieties more susceptible to this condition as I had the same problem with this variety last year.
name of variety is Aladdin's Lamp.
Is anyone else growing this and has anyone got any info on this particular variety.

Basically not enough watering, this link might help future problems, the fruit is of course ruined.
