Everything is frozen outside today, so I "harvested" courgette and carrot soup from the freezer for lunch, Desiree potatoes and an onion from the stores in the garage and Shirley tomatoes from the ripening tray in the utility room. Can't let the frost interrupt the flow of home grown food .

Same. Although my winter cabbage look like they could give up a leaf or two.

Swiss chard - it's brilliant - I've been picking non stop since late spring. Some spinach, kale & pak choi in the last couple of days. Lambs lettuce as well.

Some chillies, to go with a roast chicken I'm cooking for tea:

A mixture of Bulgarian Carrot (carrot coloured one), Cherry Bomb (round ones), Jalapenos and Hungarian Hot Wax (the chunky one)

The plants are snug in their winter home for the moment:

                              Saturday

Yesterday I harvested Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts. I had planted them very late in more hope than expectation, so the crop was a nice surprise
