  • Are there any pepper like plants that I can grow in June from seed?

Most of them say sow in may or april or march. Is there any I can do now or is it too late? Any recommendations?

I think it is too later for sowing, but you can always find some young plants from shops.

B&Q have got pepper and chilli plants for £1.98 each, or 6 for £5.

You could try sowing some now, but you'd have to be prepared to look after them indoors most of their life and they probably wouldn't fruit til late August/September/October. I'd say to try one of the F1 varieties from the big seed companies, any which say 'vigorous' or 'early fruiting' on the description will mean that they grow fast.

I bought some young bell pepper plants from Wilkinson's the weekend before last and they're looking really healthy. About £1.25 each I think they were.
