    Hi all.
Every year around septemberish i sow spring greens 2 or 3 varieties this last few years the variety Wintergreen has been included.
I have been harvesting for the last 4 weeks which is early it continues right through until march/april
whereas the usuals are not ready till marchish have any of you tried this one ?
I would not be without it fast grower and full of flavour.

I thought Wintergreen was a smelly goo you rubbed on aching muscles after too much digging.

I grow Durham Early. Usually sown mid/end of Aug and then planted in the GH borders when the tins come out- I hate netting stuff and we get a lot of pigeons! Usually ready to pick as Spring greens end Feb/March

There was a thread about Wintergreen last year https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...rds_94881.html

Burnie made the same joke then too.

My Spring greens are still only a couple of inches tall, but I was late sowing them (mid Oct!). I always grow 'Greensleeves', but always interested in recommendations...
