Has anyone tried the website "seeds by size"?
    Looks complicated but interesting.
Just wondered if anyone had used them and what they thought?

    Thanks

Looks like it would be interesting if I had the time and brainpower available to work it out!

Lots of grapes love seeds by size, but all acknowledge that it has got a rubbish web site!

Not tried them myself - my shallow and pea like brain looses interest before grasping the ins and outs....

I know, my brain starts to bleed when I'm trying to work out which price bit is for which seed section or whatever or just can't be bothered, not user friendly screen but there are too many seeds on offer so it's probably cheaper/easier to present that way I guess.

The most complicated thing about SBS is knowing the differant veg on offer ( no sowing instructions ) other wise you can buy the differant seed in £2.00 packets.

An excellent seed merchant. I can recommend them as I've had good, viable seed from them delivered very quickly. Good for some of the lesser known varieties!

Although the web site is one of the worst out there, they are very good at answering stupid questions and come back very quickly to e-mailed queries on subjects like how much do I actually have to pay for those unusual seeds????? etc etc. Think a lot of people are put off on first impressions and I fed this back but guess they must be doing OK as they are or simply haven't got the time to sort out the site.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Never ordered anything from them but i think 5 tomato seed for £2 sterling is a bit steep. Thats only my opinion.

BRAMBLE dont know where you got your calculation of five seeds from C&P this from SbS site
                      Buying £2.25 Worth Packets ;
For Example; A £2.25 Worth Packet of TOMATO BLACK KRIM would hold
approx. .18 gram (approx.45 to 72 seeds) of TOMATO BLACK KRIM seeds.

Footnote; Tomato seeds count is approx. 250- 400 seeds per gram

Thanks for that PaulW. But who needs 45tomato seeds of one variety? I just knew that site was no use for me.

Yeah, no disrespect Paul but that's why I've never bothered with them, there's plenty of easier places to buy seeds from.

Which just goes to prove how difficult it is to make head or tail of this site.
