last year i grew courgette black beauty and i have managed to save some seed to grow this year .Now the thing is black beauty is an F1 hybrid so my question is will this seed grow true to form as i have read that you cannot save some seeds from F1 hybrids as they do not come true to form

With any seed saved from an F1 plant there is a chance that it will do ok but a much bigger one that it will bomb. If you want to save seed use open pollinated varieties and if you want to guarantee you plants will do as expected buy new seed, however you could always give a couple a go just for the hell of it.
