  • Salsify anyone

I grew some salsify from seed last year. I dug some roots up begining of Dec but never used them, they were just left on the corner of the yard. I have just noticed that they have some very fresh looking shoots on them. can I replant them. If so is it worth it. The ones i dug up only had fairly small roots which is probably why they didnt get used.

I am afraid they will just run to seed as they are biennials. They do give very pretty flowers though! If left to seed they will crop up all over the garden /allotment (my own experience!)
