  • Runner beans for dry beans

    I'm looking for recommendations on runner bean varieties for harvesting as dried beans. One that tastes good as a dry bean and crops heavily as mature beans, ideally.

    Czar, Scarlet Emperor, Prizewinner are all apparently nice tasting beans. If you search for it on this forum, you'll find loads. Blue Lake is highly recommended too - I'm trying that for the first time this year

          I grew enorma for beans last year and growing again this year, great in chilli. Looks like a large borlotti.
