  • Root bound

One of my chilli peppers looks root bound (in a Morrison bucket) is that ok or should I repot it. It is an over winter plant about 2 ft tall Scotch Bonnett

    Thanks

In my view a Morrison bucket is too small for chilli plants although they will live. Something like a 12" pot is more like it.

I'll take the opposite view! That'll be fine for a scotch bonnet, bit of feeding and it ought to crop well.

I have 3 different sizes of Morrisons buckets starting at about 8ltrs that I would consider to small but the others are fine for chillies and peppers.
