  • Re-potting (potting on) garden pea seedlings

I have about a dozen regular garden/English pea seedlings growing in Rootrainers. At the moment, they are roughly 5-8cm high and the roots are starting to poke out at the bottom.

My question is...how big do the seedlings need to be, before potting them on into their final large container (which is a big pea grow bag/planter)?

    Thanks!

You can pot them into their final container now but remember to harden them off if they've been inside

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Super..thanks! I planted them a couple of days ago...they've been outside since "birth" and seem to be doing quite well so far. Fingers crossed the heat-wave this weekend doesn't kill them!
