Question about seed brands

Never come across these before Stu.... Have bought from Lidl in the past and they have always been okay. Are they very expensive..? If they are cheap give them a go...!

Never seen that before - I buy seeds from many places. Wilkinsons are cheap and I've never had a problem. I also order from T & M or Unwins if I want something special.

Alex seeds are found in Lidl, the pound shops etc

I've got a packet of Tendercrop beans I bought them from Lidl in 2007 and I've been saving the seeds ever since they did well in flower buckets, info on back says:-

Hi I've just sown some, got 5 full sized packets of mixed flowers , sunflowers, violas, allysium, candy tuft and zinnias for �1.20. Will let you know if the violas and zinnias germinate.
Worth a go,packet says packed Nov 2010.

Thanks for the replies everyone, good to hear that some people have had success with the seeds.

Well we've now got a full display box of the flowers and veg, and 1 of the lilly bulbs

knew I should have gone and supervised the OH when she went the wholesalers last night.
