It's always worth a try jaydeb. You are dependent on the weather - what sort of a summer we have - but as long as they have a bit of ripening time you could get a crop and enough to store. Give it a go - you'll only waste a few seeds if it doesn't work. I sowed a few extra outdoor cucumbers a couple of weeks ago - my others are in flower but I thought I could do with a couple more! They are growing faster than the first ones did - later sowings often catch up.
    Good luck!

I just got some squash seeds and it says they should be planted in april, but I'm going to have a go anyway lol. they will be kept indoors for ages so they'll be warm, and besides I'm too impatient to wait until next year lol.
good luck with your pumpkins! I'm still searching for the right seeds..... :-P

Hi Jaydeb, they sound like fast workers & with a name like that they should be great for Halloween, good luck with the growing.
