  • Potato Wet Rot

    Hi

I have just inspected my stored potatos and in every sack I have a few with wet rot. I've sorted out all the dry one and put the others for immediate use. The problem now it that the hessian sacks are wet in various places. Can I put the good potatos straight back in these? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks John

why don't you stick em in the washing machine on a boil wash ( cotton highest temp)
that should get rid of any lingering nasties.

There is a lot of water log this year.As long as it is just water log and not blight then they will be fine in the same bag as long as you dry it out.
          Washing it would be ideal.
