    So this is not easy, the books say when the tassles turn,well as you can see me tassles have fell off(painful)

    just peel back a little to the middle...if yellow and succulant , give one a try!!!
    Should be ready about now anyway!!
    Remember..NO salt in the water!!!

                  Pierce one kernel. I believe creamy means sweet and ripe, clear means wait. Experts please correct me on this.

                      Has always been the way I have decided whether or not they are ripe! Done by all the Boers that way!
