  • Peppers - help to ripen

    Hi

Does anyone have any tips on helping peppers along with ripening? I don't have a greenhouse so they are all outside and apart from the odd couple, all green. They are in a pretty sheltered spot but still took a bit of a battering in the recent winds.

They didn't change colour last year either, and by the end of the season I had to pick them green or they ended up rotten.

I don't mind having some green but some red would be lovely. Any ideas?

    Thanks

They need to be warm & in the light to ripen: ideally a south facing conservatory/windowsill

Ive got some sweet bell peppers that are 80% orange now. Another week and they should have turned completly.

My other witches nose peppers are not doing so good, no sign of ripe colour on those at all.
