  • Painted pepper?

Yesterday I succumbed to temptation and rescued a "Painted Pepper" from Lidl. £1:99 for a plant about 18" high producing, according to the bumph on the label, yellow peppers, however it also refes to it being slightly spicy.
Anyone have any ideas what I can expect from this plant? I've tried googling it and get nothing (of use.).
I had to rescue it, the poor thing was flowering (Two flowers and loads of buds) and was bone dry in the pot, having been there since Saturday at least, and not, apparently, watered. It's a good few weeks ahead of my other peppers, and seemed in good nick. I gave it a good watering last night, and tonight potted it on into a Morrisons floer bucket. Happiness is a rescued plant

I have some 'Pointed Peppers' - do you think it could be one of those?

Lol! I rescued the exact same thing from my Lidl earlier today! I'm afraid I've not much idea what to expect either though. I should really learn not to let strange plants follow me home
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Could very well be, diabetes has taken a toll on my eyesight and the green writing on a pale green background of the label doesn't help. Any advce on pointed peppers gratefully received. (the picture does look a bit of a pointy fruit thinking about it.)
