  • Is Nero Kale immune to cabbage whites.

I have some Nero Kale doing well, this years experiment.
I have notice many cabbage whites around and some on the plants.
I have inspected under the leaves and no eggs or catapilers I can see.
There were a few of the eggs on top of one of the leaves, soon despatched them.
So do cabbage whites not like Nero Kale.
Hopefully I have not Jinxed them!

Last year I planted a couple of spares outside my cage after a couple of weeks they resembled lace curtains.

If they've laid eggs then no!

I don't find cabbage whites too much of a problem but white fly seem to adore them in my allotment.

Sorry...hate to blow your theory...we too have them devastated by caterpillars unless we keep a close eye on them.
