  • My cucumber plants have mini cukes on them!

I'm sooooo excited! They're Socrates F1 plants. I sowed three and then realised that I don't have a proper greenhouse and swapped the rest of the seeds on here.

I stuck my three plants into the plastic greenhouse, thinking that I may as well let them grow and see what happens and I looked at them on Saturday (having watered them on Thursday night) and they've got cucumbers on them!

There's about 10 of them, the longest of which is about 6cm.

I couldn't stop running down the garden to look at them all weekend! Yay me!

Yay you back! My broadies are 'beaning' too, it is so satisfying isn't it? My family just aren't that impressed but I keep going to check mine too, just in case. In case of what I don't know

First thing I do in the morning is to check how much things have grown since yesterday

Only thing is, I have no idea how long they're supposed to grow before I harvest them as I've no longer got the packet. Any ideas anyone?

My courgettes are next, I think )
