I think I have some carrots in that are edible. Bit hard to check as the ground is rather frozen

Edit: they were from a late chance sowing. Bugs finished off all my other carrots

Have a few carrots in the fridge - kinda bendy but ok. Don't ask me about storing them though

yes i still have spuds in the ground ,not sure if they will be edable anymore as i normally have them up before now but im off up to my veggie patch this weekend so i`ll try and dig some up and see ,a lady just over from me used to leave her`s in the ground and dig them as needed and she said they were fine just depends if the slugs have found them i guess ,cheers

Ive Autumn King in the greenhouse, planted in August.
Trouble is their only abour 2 inches long and a third of that wide

Tips?, heck no lol, even my spring/summer container grown carrots hardly reached 4 inches long

Still have last two bags if carrots in the freezer and a load of spuds in sacks in the outside brick shed.

I also have some Autumn king planted in august out in the growhouse but they are even smaller than yours.

Just taters in sacks. The Kestrel and Charlottes have finished this week so today we started on the Sarpo Kifli's which despite the less than perfect storage conditions are as firm and fresh-tasting as when they were first lifted.
Lotty fodder we're down to three kales, red cabbage and parsnips. PSB is in the wings. Greenhouse is still providing rocket, land cress and mizuna.

No carrots. But spuds are in an outbuilding stored in a bag.

On the last of my tatties, highland burgundy, enough for 3-4 meals, but as OH bent my ear about getting things sorted before the weather got too cold, we still have about one and a half carrier bags full (about 20 servings in each bag) sitting in the freezer, autumn king and nantes, they were really good with the goose at Christmas, still have one row in the garden but I bet the nasties have had a go at them by now, but thanks to OH we wont have to worry just yet..

Still got about 50% of a 4' x 7' part of a bed full left of carrots, maybe a bit less, always pull them as needed. Will last me through to spring. Tatties are in bags in the garage and will hopefully last until the first earlies in the tunnel but I normally run out just before. Also cropping cabbages, leeks, sprouts, kale, parsnips, swede at the moment with their stuff coming on and / or stored. Most concerned about running out of onions at the moment but otherwise about normal for this time of year. Always strive to avoid buying anything.

I could never leave mine in the ground, they get full of holes and are unusable if I do.

Plenty of potatoes in thick paper bags in the garage (Desiree and Sarpo Mira). Various tubs of carrots still being harvested - 1/2 pot Flyaway, 1/2 pot of Eskimo, 2 of Nantes Frubund and 2 of Marion (one of which was sown later and should keep a bit longer). I'm hoping I will have carrots until well into May - last year the late sowing was finished on 24th May. By then the ones I sowed the other day should be ready to eat

Some of the pots of carrots are in the front row under the garage window (photo taken 1st January).

I still have carrots in the ground from a late sowing last year..
Have been picking and eating them over last 2 months or so...Last potatoes were used up from the ground in early December I think...
