  • Loo Roll Uses

So, I've got bags of them, friends and family input too - our consumption is normal

Anyway, apart from sowing seeds can everyone give me all gardening uses for them so I don't kick myself at the end of the year.

Are they any good for blanching leek stems?

Add them to compost as the 'paper' component? Scarecrows?!? Shame ytou're not close to me. I'm having to make some up from wrapping paper cardboard, as I live alone, so my consumption does not match my gardening needs!

Not necessarily garden related, but given your other post, have you ever played "badge man"?

Hold the loo roll centre up to your eye in a kind of telescope stylie. Then look at one of your friends through the loo roll. The instantly become Badge Man/Woman.

You can have whole minutes of fun with it!

Paint them green, attach them to an Alice band and hey presto, Shrek ears, nearly as much fun as badge man!

I tried using them on my leeks but started getting fungi growing everywhere I put them, I think it's something to do with the gum they use. Lost the majority of my leeks.

I used them to make copper rings last year. I put the copper tape around them then cut the sizes i needed
                Cheers

In that case, just flatten them and get some double sided sticky tape on 'em.
