  • Lidl Premium canned plum tomatoes, cordon or bush?

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone has planted the seeds from Lidl canned "premium" plum tomatoes before. I saved some today but would like to know if they are bushy or not so I can leave enough space for them.

Would you be able to germinate seeds that have been through the high heat likely to be part of the canning process?

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Give it a try, you've only got 5 mins and the price of a sheet of loo roll to lose!

I would think if they were fertile they would have germinated in the tin!
