hi does anyone know if i can plant leeks in green house in between my tomatos aint got much garden and wat i have got is all perenials

Leeks need a long growing season so they'd have to stay in the greenhouse after the toms had gone. I'm growing some thin 'pencil' leeks in a deep tub and they are coming along nicely but I guess maincrop leeks really should be outside in the soil.

The showmen around here grow there leeks in greenhouses in 'trenches' which are basically raised beds with a polytunnel over the top.

Most leeks are grown as a winter crop though and little would be gained from growing in the greenhouse apart from a cleaner earlier crop.

I might overwinter a few in buckets to try them!

I still have some to plant out, I might refresh the compost and put them in the big tub I've grown carrots in so I can move that in the greenhouse.

I don't see why not. I grow my show leeks in a P/Tunnel. You might find that they are too soft to stand the winter.
