I harvested my first ever veg today!!

I was so happy when I pulled that first carrot out of my box! Which has worked a treat btw!

I also harvested all of my peas which had powdery mildew, but wasnt a total loss because they were still scrummy and none were wasted hardly.

Also a "bunch" of tomatoes from my nurtured plant, theyre only small but sooo juicy!

Yes I'm happy, can you tell?

Oh yeah andddddd i got my first pumpkin growing on my plant! Which is actually growing in a pot! I'm so chuffed I didnt think it would work!

    No beans though... poop!

    KK I'll shut up now!
    xx

That's brilliant, well done you! Wish I'd managed to get some tomatoes but they all went down with the dreaded blight . Never mind, I've got some pumpkins growing, even the big one that looks as if it's been got at with shotgun pellets due to the hailstorm is growing well. Think I'll take a tape measure to the lottie today to see how much it's grown

No shame in blowing your own trumpet where growing your own is concerned! Very well done!

Well done! We had our first spinach this week and it was a terrific feeling. Even if my sons comment was "Is this safe to eat?" Ratbag!

Tbh two sheds I dont know! The bees had a right go but when the flowers dropped off they left behind what looked like organ pipes that were empty and nothing came from them at all! Gutted.
