  • JAs stolen!

Having planted a long row of these beauties back early last year - I went to pull some for lunch yesterday. Nothing! Zilch!

They had produced long top growth and flowers - but they are empty in the bottom department - how very odd!

    Has anyone experienced this?

'fraid not - I planted 5 tubers in 2006 and can't get rid of the damn things.

Are you digging in the right place??

Had it been very soggy during the summer?

        Yes we have indeed piskie!

Our neighbour found them a few weeks later on a hoard in his soil...most likely rats or squirrels?

Sounds a bit odd. Just to double check, you have dug deep enough? They can be a good foot underground.

They do on dogs - I've tested it - both raw and uncooked

I'm sure there's a subtle difference there but not sure what it is....
