    Its that time of year, grapes, when we start our personal running totals of how many courgettes, squashes and cucumbers we pick.

    Today I made like a bee and fertilised the first female courgette flower (with a male flower, in case you're wondering).

    Some people are so bloody organised. I haven't really thought about planting the seeds yet, but If I planted mine now they'd be too big way before I'd dare plant them out or I'd have killed them.
