  • Help!! Can't swallow tomato seeds!!

I have a serious affliction and I'm hoping that I'm not the only one. Its physically impossible for me to swallow tomato seeds: squash seeds too. I've always had this problem but its become much worse this last year - since I stopped lurking on here in fact.
Tonight I realised how difficult life was becoming - so I'm seeking support and advice please. You see, my hot meal was on the plate but I thought - that needs a tomato with it. So I sliced the tomato - but couldn't put it on my plate - Oh No!! I had to extract every single seed first - to save them for swapping My meal went cold but my conscience is clear.
Please tell me I'm not the only one with this problem - or do I need counselling?

'tis funny you should say that
It's not tomato seeds with me (although, that is a bit of a problem) I have 10 packets of Californian Poppy seeds that I have saved for for the Frenchie Virtual Seed Parcel but I still can't help saving the seeds - I mean, what am I going to do with them all!

I suffer the same affliction.....it seems to be the next stage to the armpit addiction ........think a support group could help as it's also starting to encompass chillies and peppers ( even shop bought ones)

Your not alone!! If I ever have Tomatoes,in a sarny or a salad etc I have to cut out the slimy seedy bit, Yuk! I love tomato sauce, tined toms, grilled toms but give me a naked one with the slimy stuff n its cut out n binned, wont even have it left on my plate. As were on about strange food "habits", does anyone get a headache from celery? I dont just hate it,I absolutely dispise the god dam stuff, it should be dug up and burnt. I made my wife a salad for her pack up the other day cut up some celery and felt a bit rough while doing it,thought nothing of it. Following day made her another salad same thing happened but this time got a banging headache, left the celery alone for about four days, then cut some up and the smell of it started to give me a dull ache in my forehead. Is this just a co-incedence or does anyone else get it?

                              AHAHAHA

                              I'm not quite as bad.......yet.

I made some tomato chutney this afternoon and there were some seeds at the bottom of the pot i'd used to skin the tomatoes, I closed my eyes as I poured them out with the water telling myself that the boiling water would have ruined them...... It was really hard lol.
