  • got a chance

i planted my tatties in their tubs, and put the white and red onions out, but I could not find my new/newer carrot seeds, or the parsnip seeds, so I found some italian carrot seeds I bought on my hols, and sowed them, and found last years parsnip seeds, and sowed them, as when I did the same 3yrs ago, I got amazing germination, and just after I did this the weather started to improve, so I am hopefully in with a chance..

It was worth giving them a go, and you never know you could find your new seeds now you've sown those

        Your seeds will turn up.
It’s always the same. You can never find the thing you’re looking for, but when you’re not look for it there it is right in front of your eyes.
Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch and get dirt under your finger nails.

Possibly explains why I own 243 trowels.
And still planting holes getting gouged out by hand.

Three years ago I used the wrong, old, parsnip seeds and I got over 90% germination, I was always told that second year seed viability was very poor, but we had them roasted and in a curried soup, absolutely lovely, so now I want the same again, if at all possible..
