Has anyone tried these spuds? Are they first or second or main?

They are maincrop spuds (I think). I tried them last year as I remember them from my childhood. Sadly, mine got clobbered by blight - going to try again this year though.

You probably won't. They gave Golden Wonder crisps their name. They are a floury spud (best boiled in their jackets) and not a heavy cropper. My grandfather used to bring us a bag from Scotland when he came to visit in the winter.

I tried them in an old dustbin but I got clobbered by blight and didn't harvest more than a couple dozen marbles from all the spuds I sowed. Think sowing in buckets is maybe easier for pest control (except blight)
