Ive had a little trouble the last couple of years growing garlic. Ive had white onion rot and haven't been able to save any cloves for replanting 
last year I made a new bed - I had reasonable results, though I did get some rust. My elephant garlic usually gives great returns 
I'm going to try another new patch this Autumn for my garlic. I went to the "Countryfile live" show today and spotted the garlic farm, I often get a few bulbs from them

Today I picked up some Red Czech, a hard necked Autumn planting garlic, for planting late October. Hard necked garlic throws out the flower spike and are usually ready for harvesting end of June/July.
What varieties of garlic are you planning to plant and when?
