Tee hee hee. I popped some peas in kitchen roll and then into a pot and I've got 5 coming through already.

Can't wait for the first harvest of pea tops to pop into a rice dish.

      C'mon you peas.

peas are next to get the soil treatment

It is so heart-warming to see life come out of these tiny little seeds at this time of year - true enough they are in a greenhouse - but still it warms ya cockles.

These will never make it to be big boys, they are purely for munching now as babies

          I know.

We have finally had most of our garage demolished today. We've got a garden room going up in Jan, but there will now be room for a greenhouse, and I can't chuffin wait.

Is it not to early to plant toms now? What will you do with them and all the other stuff till spring?
Updated my blog on 13 January

My other half (who is not keen on spinach) swears they can be trained to demolish whole rows of seedlings! Can't vouch for the truth of this but I've certainly had severe losses.

Toms are not included in the micro-greens munching program - cos they are poisonous - all the others are eating as tiny versions of their bigger selves

It is heated, but only just - the seeds have taken just over a week to germinate, the average night temp is 3

Some of us are sowing early toms, as a trial. There's a thread on here about it - and I'll be starting a new thread on the 27th. All welcome to join in.

Others think we are insane for bothering...you're welcome to join that camp as well!

From experience I find Jan to early to sow frost tender veg but all the other veg I find is fair game for Jan sowing in a cool greenhouse or kitchen windowsill.
