  • Flattened crops from rain

Do you just leave them to it? A couple PSB, Radish, and Lettuces are erm, flat - oh and some beetroot. Will the root veg bulb up ok? It seems as if they've come out the ground, grown along it before I noticed since having some heavy rain, and now are turning upright again.

I've tried earthing up the PSB for stability, but to no avail.

The salad stuff should be fine, Chrismarks. It is a good idea to draw the soil up round the root to give it more stability though.
Your PSB needs firming in - brassicas like a very firm soil to grow in and taller ones may need staking to get them through to production stage. The only exception to this rule is cauliflower, so I understand.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
