    Hello all

As a massive Garlic lover I purchased some Elephant Garlic bulbs - unfortunately I planted them too late. No worries, it's all a learning experience....

Anyway, they grew and went to flower and I have just pulled them - I understood they wouldn't be the full developed bulbs - still taste good mind.

As I was picking them today I noticed at the root bulb on each plant there were what can best be described as 'normal segments' of a garlic, small but well formed.

Though I have grown normal garlic for years I have seen this before - is this a seed?

    Hi and welcome.

You can plant those little bits (technical term) and grow more garlic.
This thread may help (or confuse) you.
