Capsium Annuum is rather a generic name to a whole group of peppers and is usually followed by another latin name such as longum or conoide to further describe the shape. eg Apache, Fiesta, Etna, Hungarian Hot wax, Thai Dragon etc etc are all capsium annuum.Geordie
