  • Do you play music to your plants?

To be fair, life as a plant must be very boring. Does music do anything for them?
    Thanks

if i had to stand still for days at the bottom of the garden/allotment then surely the novelty would wear off?

moderation in everything by all means, anything of the same gets boring after a while. but we have the choice to do other stuff, plants dont.

anyway... scientifically proven or all talk? anyone do it?

how about max bygraves, tulips from Amsterdam, or the yellow rose of texas, or would using them be regarded as a "plant"?...

I sing, badly and with some personal lyric changes (can't remember the right ones).

There was a bit on TV last year about the worlds hottest chilli's and the grower swore that it was down to the heavy rock music he played his plants.

                  Boring? I don think so.
A plant spends it's life growing below and above ground, but not always noticed. Making it's self look pretty so it can get pregnant and producing baby's. During this process it has to fight off bug and things, the ever changing elements to hot, to cold. the occasional football flying at it, being trampled by small feet ( 2 or 4 legged), and the potential of being used as a toilet! Then when the baby is nearly ready to make it on it's own, someone comes along and rips the baby off the plant and depending on the type of plant eats it in front of its mum boring no, traumatic probably

Going back to your original question. No I don't, not all the plants are going to have the same taste in music as me
