  • Cucumber help required

    Hi

I had a very successful cucumber crop this year with only two plants. I grew them in my unheated greenhouse. I have cleared away all the tomato plants that were growing around them but didnt have time to do the cucumbers

When I went out yesterday to do that, I found that they had started to regrow, with loads of flowers and a dozen or so 2 -3 inch cucumbers growing.

I am going them carry on growing for now, but as soon as it gets cold will they die? I wont be heating the greenhouse but it does get very warm even in the winter..

warmth isn't as important as light, and in winter the sun is too low in the sky, and too weak, for good plant growth

Mine never stopped but they are taking a lot longer to ripen, I need to clear the GH out soon and i am sick to death of cucumbers. My whole family have taken on a green hue and i swear I am starting to bend in the middle.
