  • Crown prince.. incredible storage!

For Christmas I cut one of the CP pumpkins I grew (or, should I say took over the garden) in half and only used that half. I forgot I put the other half in the fridge until yesterday - looking what to add to dinner I found it again - and in perfect form. I can't believe it - and it still tastes amazing.

Definitely one to grow again this year..

    Hi Chris,

I love these! I've grow them for the last couple of years, and they've lasted well into the next summer. And they're really tasty. Almost nutty.

I experimented with a couple from 2009 http://www.realmensow.co.uk/?p=78, leaving them out to see how long they lasted. I wouldn't have eaten them, but they didn't start to rot until November last year, and that was only when I put them outside.

My mum's one from 2009 is still going!
