It's pretty grim too when you're (i.e. Me!) out looking for new clothes and the thought " will this be suitable to wear for gardening when it's old?" Pops into mind!
The French have clear flat plastic trays with lids which click down on them...for tarts, croissants etc...they are brill little propagaters!

I was quite annoyed when PH threw away a cattle feed tub I was going to use in the gh. V pleased as have managed to get 5 big pots for the gh for free this week!Another happy Nutter...Comment

Ummmm I did suffer but I recently had a clear out and then found myself putting stuff to one side and had that give myself a telling off. I'm kinda frustrated because I have made all the bird scaring windmills, slug traps and self watering pop bottle propagators and have enough bottles for deep watering so I'm having to put them in the new recycle bin from the council.

HH that's correct Milk Bottle Soft Bricks - Not harsh sharp edge baked clay things, but smooth milk bottles with no sharp edges, filled with dried sand that have little handles and are not so abrasive on fleece or nets and they assist in holding down my weed membrane.Originally posted by happyhumph View Post

I'm getting this particular habit under control ( a bit ).
I'm moving all the (most of the) MFB and buckets from home up to the plot - getting rid of the really bad pots and things that were already at the plot, trying to move the best pots to the 'herb' area near the seats and table on the plot etc.
Home is looking a bit better i have to say. I reckon they could have done a special edition of one of those "lets laugh at the 'hoarder' shows on Channel 5" with me...
I'm getting there - but a discarded builder's bucket always gets my attention and I can never walk directly past a skip

Balders - I feel your pain, I've actually invested in some 5" pots for potting up too from the vending machine cups, I'm getting quite angry at all the differing shapes and size pots and most of the ones I needed at home were still on the allotment from last year. I need a good sort out as the cold frame is full of pots and trays etc. I need to become more streamline and organised.
All my flower buckets apart from the 22 I use for my tomatoes in the back garden are on the allotments, currently a load of them are full of manure so I can move the heap around whilst I'm still developing, digging and weeding and putting in the infrastructure on the new plot.Last edited by Cadalot; 27-04-2017, 06:13 PM.Comment
