  • Chilli flowers turning brown?

    Not sure if I should be worried, my flowers on my chilli's are turning brown, is this normal or could there be a problem?

    by turning brown do you mean the petals? if they are turning brown they will eventually shrivel away and reveal a baby chilli.

      Yes the petals are turning brown. It's odd, the chillis I had growing in doors (now outside had to make room) grew fantastic but only have a handful of flowers, the ones that have been outside for about 2 months are beaten up by the elements and bugs and are only about 20cm tall but have tons of flowers.

        If they leave a little chilli behind when they turn brown then that's fine herby.
        If they're turning brown and there's no chilli then they might be too hot. You could try mocing them back from the glass when it's really sunny.
