  • Cauli sucess!!!

I just want to show off a bit cause I heard growing caulis was hard. I have grown 8 beautiful caulis at the lottie and we had one for tea last night! Yummy!
Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

Ooooh a long time! sowed them last July as I recall! overwintered them at the lottie and had almost given up on them when hey presto beautiful white heads appeared!!

          Excellent!

Now try some summer and autunm ones too. They're really quick growing.

LOL, I always type as I speak
I didn't realise you sow them one year and harvest the next, so they'd be a good thing for me to pop in this summer as I'm clearing my beds out?

Ohh, well done Lainey! A crop this soon in the season, an added bonus!! So did you give them any protection over the winter or just leave them to their own devices? I had a fair success with summer caulis at home last year but didnt try overwintering any. You have inspired me to give it a go - so thank you!!
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

Well done - you may well be proud of yourself; there's a bit of growing in cauliflowers, so there is.
