  • Can anyone identify what these egg like things are please

The system won't let me upload the picture but turning my soil has unearthed lots and lots of tiny, white and yellowish egg like things. A couple of them got squished and a milky like fluid came out so I think they're alive but I just don't know what they are. They are roughly a couple of of mm across. All answers gratefully accepted

    Welcome John

Sounds like slug eggs. Have a goggle for some images and see if they look like yours - if not try snail eggs!

      I agree. Squish them all!

If they are snail or slug eggs you could leave them on a paving slab for the birds to eat.

By turning the soil and exposing them to the sun they will deseacate (dry out) and die anyway.

Letting them hatch will give some food for "Mr Toad" or "Miss Mistlethrush"

Either way they are adding biomass to your soil
