  • bush tomato leaves curling

    Hi all,
I have 2 100`s and 1000`s bush tomato plants which are in 12 inch pots and really thriving and heavily set with fruit, the reason i am asking for advice is that the leaves at the ends of the trusses curl up and look quite poorly at times while the truss seems to be blooming.Could the truss be taking all the goodies etc and starving the leaves on the end?is this normal,i keep them well watered with watering spikes and feed twice a week from the top with sulphate of potash!

    Any ideas?

The inward curling of young leaves is usually a good sign providing the leaves are a nice dark green.

On older leaves it can be caused by wide variation between night and day temperatures.

If there are no signs of pests I wouldn't worry to much.
