How about just potting some up and leaving them in your shed. It would help stop rot and mouse attacks.

Somebody will be along shortly who knows what you should be doing with them.

The RHS says November is OK in the south. It might be a bit cold for them in Derbyshire though?

I will keep planting broad beans in succession right into December unless things really get much colder. In which case i might lay a fleece over the existing ones.
I am in the south east so i guess it is generally milder

went to the lotie this afternoon and planted 2 packets of beans and 2 rows of garlic (3 bulbs of tescos large white) the garlic cost 50p each and the beans I got from wilkos for 10p a packet when they put the wrong sale price on thier seeds ,so at a cost of £1.70p it's not going to break the bank if they fail, having said that the garlic I got from the potato day last year was rubish and never grew
plus one of the old lads told me thats what he used all the time and he's Italian! and been growing 30yrs on our allotment . atb Dal

Aquadulche? They're good for overwintering. Personally, I'd chit 'em inside to hurry them up a bit, as it is getting a little late, and if they don't get a move on they might risk rotting or getting eaten by things that aren't you.

I always plant Aqualdulce Claudia as my overwintering broad bean. As a rule of thumb I put them and my onions and garlic in during October half term. They all went in last weekend.

There's only one way to find out if it's too late...try them. They are winter hardy so I'd get them in.
