I've hit a problem with my brassica cage. Following great advice on here I constructed the usual scaffolding-net-and-water-pipe cage and it functioned beautifully. When I came to dismantle it last week, I found that when some of the pipe 'legs' came up, the canes appeared to have vanished. So I can only assume they have rotted, broken at or below soil level, and the rest is lodged inside the pipe, making it impossible to re-use them.
Any ideas? :-(
