  • Big wriggler....

Thought you'd like to see my friend from the plot this morning. I can't say this is the biggest worm I've seen on the plot, but it's certainly one of them. That's a regular-sized rake.

And no, unlike the world record holder, it wasn't killed.

i found some whoppers like that when I dug over what is now the veg patch, nearly a foot long, but not as long as the one you have there, if it gets any bigger it will be dangerous walking round your veg patch, I can just see the headlines on page 3, below the fallen maddona with the big boobies.."man attacked by monster worm", I say man as to say woman would alter the whole meaning of the headline....

Holy s**t if I found that on my plot I'd be heading for the hills, you sure it was a worm and not some mutant snake.

        LOL!

I like worms, but the big ones do make me take a step backwards. Deferentially. I don't like it when they first boil up out of the soil and you see a head and then...they... just... keep... coming.... *shudder*

I don't care what size they are,as long as i don't have to handle it,without me gloves on,and they are round not flat

well I've never been scared of a worm before, but now you've all made me feel like I should be!

My whopper was just above normal length but was the width of 50 other worms put together.

I think yours has been practicing standing on tip toes and mine has been body building

I have heard the rumours that you have big one 1Bee. We have pretty, normal, delicate ones here so it must be something they are eating to make them so massoosive.

LOL! No, we're actually about 30 miles away....

But I do let the 6yo pee on the plot... maybe that's it.

I have heard those kind of boasts before, what's the next line?, my worms bigger than yours?, made me smile thinking about it, did the "coal" worms wear knee pads and steel helmets?, just so long as they left the Newcastle brown alone..

I wish I had one as big as that.....in fact I wish I had one, just finding one no matter what size would make me happy
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
