  • Best flowers to go with vegetable plants?

Could anyone recommend any flowers I could grow that might be to a advantage for the vegetables I grow (beans, courgettes, tomatos) for example help pollination or scare away unwanted insects?

    Many Thanks

For what its worth I grow french marigolds, calendula, borage, lavender & rosemary to attract all those lovely polinating insects. No doubt other people can reccomend other plants for you.

I grow all of these as well as nasturtiums, sweet peas and poached egg plants. This year I've also grown some purple loostrife but don't think it'll flower till next year.

if you only plant one, make it calendula. It feeds hoverflies whose young devour 100s of aphids
