  • Balconi tomatoes in a Chilligrow

This year I have had zero success germinating chillies and, rather than buying plants, I was thinking of putting Balconi tomatoes in my Chilligrow.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has grown tomatoes in a Chilligrow.

    1. Is it possible to grow 3 tomatoes in it or would it be better to use the middle pot for something smaller to give more light (They will be on a south/east facing windowsill.)

    2. Do you feed directly into the pot as you would in a conventional pot or use a diluted feed in the reservoir?

Any advice would be most welcome!

I havent used chilligrow but so use quadgrows

I usually water 75% into the reservoir with a little bit on top to prevent the top roots drying out.

Im not sure on the 2 vs 3, as they are a bush you might be struggling with 3
