    Asparagus watering question.

    Hi.
    My asparagus is in its 3rd year. I've been picking but will not be greedy
    When it's picking season should I water it? it's very dry in Sussex at present. I'm growing in a raised bed with a second plot on open ground.

    They have deep roots, but a thorough soaking won’t do any harm.

      They will appreciate a drink if its very dry

        My asparagus has all gone to fern. I dont harvest late because i want next years growth to be good. I also apply 10-10-10 this month during watering. Its all about getting those reserves built up before the winter.
